Smash Putt! | Date Night In Seattle
Every month my husband’s company Glosten, invites the co-workers to meet for dinner or they plan a fun event out to Safeco field for a ball game. I think it is amazing that his work takes the time to plan these fun outings, because it builds community. This time everyone went to Smash Putt, miniature golf with a twist! If miniature golf was apocalyptic, this would be it. It is known to sell out fast so buy your ticket as soon as the week starts. Smash Putt is a temporary event. It’s almost like an art gallery and will only be around for a few more weeks. Each course is unique and somewhat destructive in a humorous, but creative way.
My favorite hole what the magic 8! I won’t give away any spoilers but if you play it, you’re in for a surprise!
This was one of the first holes we started off with in our group. I called it the skratch n’ sniff. It landed on grape. I wonder what the propane tank smelled liked? Or any of the other smells.
We then adventure towards the back of the building and found this interesting and amazing contraption/maze that required some physical exertion.
We came across this awesome disc track that would cause the drums and guitar to play a different tune when you placed your golf ball on it. It was pretty cool to play around with this fun gadget.
Overall I enjoyed Smash Putt with my husband Max and I think this is a great date night choice for any Seattle couples looking for a unique and adventurous change from the norm.
