My Snohomish Wedding Tour
Snohomish, Washington has a variety of truly beautiful wedding venues . You can pick from the highly popular farm venues, to more formal spaces such as manors and ballrooms. Annually on the first Sunday in June, The Snohomish Wedding Tour is organized. It is a free event that helps newly-engaged couples create and design their dream wedding.
I contemplated participating in The Snohomish Wedding Tour. It was not because I don’t love what I do, but because putting yourself out there can take a big leap of faith and it takes a lot of work to prepare an entire display to share with potential wedding couples. It can be a scary thing to put yourself out there,but I believe in my company and photography experience so I took the leap.
I liked that The Snohomish Wedding Tour can grasp and create a community with like-minded, trusted vendors. I also loved that I was able to reach more couples in person than just through the internet. Sometimes connecting with clients only through the internet can be wonderful and other time it can honestly suck. There are times where you think the client is going to book but decide on going with another photographer. I understand that I might not always be the right fit photographer. We all have different personalities and in order to create flawless photos you must be able to connect with the client that share the same mindset, style, and personality. I think The Sonhomish Wedding Tour opened the door to some amazing couples I was able to connect and better establish the brand and clientele I would love to work with. With that being said, I never discriminate and try my best to work with all couples who inquire with LRP.
Belle Chapel was the venue where I was located for the tour and the team of vendors that they paired me up with was so fun and so full of passion and joy. It’s hard to explain, but it was such a special day with everyone that showed up and working with an amazing team of vendors. I felt like I gained a family of vendors who want everyone to succeed. The energy and joy surrounding this day was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. It was such an honor to be apart of the event and I can’t help but look back at the images and smile. These are the people who you want working for you and your wedding to make it one of the best days of your life.
